Dripping (with sarcasm)

$45.00

By Emily Crennen

"I feel very strongly about snow. Although I constantly complain about the cold and ice through the Colorado winter, I am very aware of the impact of climate change on the world’s coldest regions. When I read about Tr*mp’s deal with oil drilling companies in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, I was livid. Not only would this eliminate a huge area of land solely for the preservation of arctic plants and animals, but it would also further contribute to climate change and the melting of the exact area they wish to extract from. The words in this piece came from a smear campaign against Biden, which I thought would be a perfect contrast to the breathtaking yet delicate images of the Tongass National Forest that melts a little bit sooner each spring in part due to burning mass amounts of oil. Go figure."

12'“ x 16" reproduction printed on fine art watercolor card stock. Image area is 11” x 15”. Signed by the artist.
