Do You Know the Way Home
By Elise Ribaudo
"Do You Know the Way Home" is a mixed-media representation of a dying coral reef. Rising ocean temperatures are creating a toxic environment for coral. The vibrancy of this coral is dulled by the encroaching layers of black, seeping into all its recesses. Inhabiting a toxic environment will slowly poison you;it will take all the life you have to give. This reef still has some life, some hope, but its future is uncertain. Whether it lives or dies is dependent on the environment. Does it have a way home? Do you know the way home?"
12” x 16” reproduction printed on fine art watercolor card stock. Image area is 11” x 15”.
