"In this piece, I wanted to play with color and create interesting natural imagery contrasting the black and white of the djs in the foreground. They are groovin and reclaiming natural spaces that colonialism and white supremacy took away from them many years ago and loving it! By learning from and implementing POC and indigenous earth stewarding practices, there is a chance at changing our worldview from “master of all” to that of symbiotic organisms living in loving cooperation."
